Before any skiing trip it is important to know where to find help. While we hope that you never need us, rest assured that we will be here to assist with any misfortune. This Blue Mountain Ski Patrol has multiple first aid facilities located strategically throughout the mountain and lodge facilities. If at anytime you need assistance please come to any of our first aid facilities, notify a mountain employee or contact us at extension 1232 from any mountain phone.

Patrol Base

Our patrol base is located at the bottom of the Main Street trail adjacent to the Main Street and Burma Chair lifts. This advanced first aid facility acts as receiving area for most incidents occurring on the west side of the mountain. This location is highly visible from above and makes a great meeting place for families with children in the event of separation.

Top Shack

Top Shack is located at the top of Burma and Main St chairlifts and is also easily accessible from the Vista chairlift. This facility is the primary ski patrol dispatch center for mountain and is responsible for coordinating with patrollers, mountain employees and local emergency services. This location is also staffed with medical equipment to assist with any incident occurring on the west side of the mountain.

Summit First Aid

The Summit lodge first aid room is located in the basement of the summit lodge and is accessible by the stairs or elevator located adjacent from the Slope Side Pub. This first aid room is equipped with various medical supplies to assist with incidents occurring in the lodge or parking lots. If you need assistance in the facility please dial extension 1232 from any mountain phone.

Eagles Nest

Eagles Next is located at the top of the Comet Quad Chair and acts as the dispatch center for the east side of the mountain. This facility maintains medical equipment for walk in injuries as well as equipment necessary to respond to incidents across the mountain.

Tubing First Aid

The tubing first aid room is located in the tubing adventure center adjacent to the restrooms and maintains medical supplies for incidents occurring on the tubing hill or in the adventure center. If you need ski patrol assistance in the tubing center please contact any mountain employee or dial extension 1232 from any mountain.

Valley First Aid

The Valley First Aid building is located at the bottom of the Challenge Express Chair and adjacent to the valley lodge. This facility acts as the receiving area for most incident occurring on the east side of the mountain. This facility is central to the mountains high speeds chairlifts makes it a great meeting locations for families with children in the event of separation.

The Blue Mt Ski Patrol maintains staff at select facilities throughout the day, however at time facilities maybe vacant while patrollers respond to various incidents. If a facility is vacant upon arrival please contact ski patrol dispatch at extension 1232 and advise them of your location. A patroller will promptly be dispatched to your location.

While on the mountain, unfortunately from time to time misfortunes occur where guests need immediate medical assistance. If you are injured on a trail, ask a bystander to seek help by contacting any mountain employee. The mountain employee will then relay your location to the ski patrol dispatch center who immediately dispatch someone to your location. Please note that Blue Mountain Ski Patrol maintains a heavy presence of the mountain in order to quickly respond to any incident. If you see a ski patroller be sure to wave them down for assistance.
